If you have OCD DO NOT COME HERE I had an unfortunate experience at pathlight that made my OCD worse. Though pathlight claimed they could treat OCD, they made it much worse to the point that my now OCD therapist would never recommend pathlight to any clients. Instead of ERP, I was given talk therapy to figure out how I “feel.” I filled out so many CBT forms to change my “intrusive thoughts.” During the first week of my stay, another OCD patient left feeling worse than before. Keegan and Natalie fostered a hostile and unsafe atmosphere, which may have breached Colorado law and the Fair Housing Act. The center did not provide the necessary accommodations for my PTSD, thus infringing upon the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Additionally, there appeared to be favoritism towards a white-passing woman, which negatively impacted both my care and that of my Ethiopian roommate, raising serious concerns about potential racial and class discrimination.
