MAIN ISSUE: For the amount this building charges, the living conditions are 100% ridiculous. Packages are CONSTANTLY stolen — and it’s happening inside the building. Management is fully aware but does nothing meaningful to address it. Instead of investigating or adding security, they just send the same generic emails telling residents to “have packages delivered to a locker or your door.” Dont you think we have tried? Way too expensive for the spaces and the fire alarms are constantly going off for no reason. They never clean the halls or stairwells so those are nasty too.
edit: after having lived here 8 years Quality of life has significantly degraded as the rent has increased. -No on site staff, -constant fire alarms, -unchecked crime, -homeless people taking up residence in the garage -conglomerate that owns the place embroiled in rent price fixing lawsuit -recently told us we need to start buying our own light bulbs and all the bulbs used are strange non standard bulbs that are not cheap. -appliances that do not work well and constantly break -maintenance requests that take a week (better ... read more
