As a long-time former patient, here were my experiences with the greedy, sneaky and abusive side of Raj Patel DDS: He appears likeable, soft-spoken, polite, and mild-mannered. Dr. Patel does not try to overtreat or overcharge his patients! How refreshing is that! I have TWO dental insurances so he could have overtreated but he did not. My former dentist told me I needed nearly $12,000.00 in "urgent" treatment. I did not believe that assessment so I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Patel. I did not mention the other dentist until AFTER Dr. Patel treated me. All I needed was bonding on 4 teeth that were chipped due to stress from the job.
