As a long time former patient, here were my experiences with the greedy, sneaky, and abusive side of Raj Patel DDS: He appears to be likeable, soft-spoken, and mild-mannered. He tells you what he thinks you want to hear, so you'll trust him. He was always there to take and keep my money. But that's where his phony "Mr.-Nice-Guy" acting ended. Dr. Patel does not try to overtreat or overcharge his patients! How refreshing is that! I have TWO dental insurances so he could have overtreated but he did not. My former dentist told me I needed nearly $12,000.00 in "urgent" treatment. I did not believe that assessment so I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Patel. I did not mention the other dentist until AFTER Dr. Patel treated me. All I needed was bonding on 4 teeth that were chipped due to stress from the job.
