In 2015 my husband (Joe) had a stroke and spent 4 wks in rehab, he also has Dementia, Dr Patel came in every other day to see him and to find out how he was doing. Dr Patel talked to me about how the stroke affected Joe's memory and the areas in witch it was. Over all I liked that when we went in for a follow up Dr Patel remembered us. Thank you, Dr Patel and staff for caring not only for Joe but for me as well.
I would never recommend this physician to any of my family or friends. He does not listen at all. He is rude and always running late.
Love Dr Patel! He's courteous and reassuring. Highly recommend this great doctor but..... trying to get through on the phone is frustrating. The line is either busy or shut down for the day. You would think that they would enable a line to leave a message so the staff could get back to you. Very difficult when working full time and have limited access to personal calls during the work day.
Dr. Patel, himself, is WONDERFUL. BUT G-d help you if you need to schedule anything urgently. Or if you even need to get through to his office for a question or a prescription refill. Phone is CONSTANTLY busy (he's a great doc!) and the phone lines are shut down between 1130 and 2. Sometimes, it takes me 3 days to get through. And the office wait is typically very long (bring War and Peace). I am as yet undecided whether seeing this great doc is worth putting up with this crap. Staff unhelpful
