Bought a used truck for my son on 4/3/25. Waited a very long time in the purchasing process to get to financing. Nobody checked on us during the wait or at least offer a complimentary water. Driving an hour and a half home after the sale was complete, and the check ringing light comes on. It was an O2 sensor, which the dealer most likely erased the prior to purchase. Will report experience to the BBB.
Serpentini Chevrolet of Westlake staff are fantastic. The car purchase process was easy, relaxed and very pleasant. Thank you Alli, Allen and Harley. All were excellent to work with. Highly recommend to get yourself a vehicle.
I inquired about a GM truck that this dealership posted online and they told me how clean it was. So since I live 14 hours away in South Carolina I asked for pictures and a video because i know how bad rust can be up north in Ohio. Plus I wanted to have piece of mind before I fly up to Ohio to see the truck which cost me $400 for a plane ticket and over $100+ for a hotel room and Uber cost to get back and forth. Kevin and Gayle are a pleasure. This is my 5th vehicle I have leased from Kevin and he was busy with another guest, so his team mate Gayle helped, what a sweetheart she is. Always a great experience.
Purchased a Silverado for here with a warranty. They did not tell me there was a deductible... the deductible is $500 I guess. So what did I spend $2k on? Edit: Now they're telling me that the fuel pump is bad, and it's not covered under the warranty due to rust and want $1500. I'm waiting to get the service contract so I can review it. Edit Edit: Canceling my warranty and going to replace the part myself. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone. Buyer beware.
