What insurance will AH accept besides Aetna? My experiences with AH are mixed. The emergency department definitely needed expansion. I hope the staff is expanded as well. I feel that maybe trying to get more out of less people makes for poor service. I understand everyone's complaints. It's the company. Just like every other company, they will stretch the workforce to make more money. So don't blame your caregivers. By the way, I just went to the "about" page. It does state they are non profit. Yesterday they were crammed full of sick/hurting (and many grumpy) people because so many dr offices were closed. Yet, every single person treated me with patience & kindness, while being efficient. My medical care was of the highest quality. They helped to make a painful and frustrating situation less miserable. Sincerely grateful to have this resource in our community.
I am so upset. I brought an elderly gentleman in here yesterday morning around 11am after a fall. ER was great, attentive and we had results that he had broken hip in a timely manner. Was told he would definitely need surgery and would be getting it that afternoon. He was admitted and taken to another room. Once there we were told OR booked up and surgery would be in AM. Not very happy about but ok. It is now 5pm, has had no food and still no word yet on when surgery will be. Have listened to this poor guy moan in pain and b... read more

Two weeks ago I had to take my Dad to ER at AMC I was very disappointed. They didn't even know how to put catheter in, It was very upsetting, There were four people in there surrounding him, upsetting him. He passed away w days later The hospice Nurse even stated Wow They really did a number on him. He bled from them trying to put catheter in for 3 days. I am just devastated !

This place has made me so disgusted tonight!! I'm here with my 3yr old niece who is being seen and she had to do a urine sample however she hurts when she uses the bathroom and screams! So the nurse comes in and says just wanted to make sure everything was okay! No its not okay she's screaming because she hurts she had an accident in the floor and I was told by the nurse heres a towel you can clean it up and the soiled linens is right here. Hello isn't that your damn job!
