20+ years ago I used to go to the pasta house (when it was on the "Wabash curve") was very sad when it closed. I saw several months ago that it had reappeared near the mall (yay!) and finally got a chance to go there last weekend. the food was delicious -- as good as I remember from years ago -- very pleased that it is back in Springfield.

Worst experience at a Pasta House we have ever had. The service was terrible, sauce bland, and they didn't even take my rewards. We won't be back to this location.
Local favorite. Don’t forget to try the pizza!
Best waiter I’ve ever had. Very friendly, on top of refilling drinks, food was to our table within 10 minutes. Food was great and fresh.
Absolutely loved The Pasta House. So glad they are back in Springfield IL. Definitely recommend d the Italian Stallion!! We’ve been there for date night and with the kids. Fantastic both times!!
Our server was terrible. Not friendly, nor personable and fairly certain he was tweaking on some type of drug. Husbands pizza was terrible, my friends salad was warm and soggy, and my other friend didn’t even eat his Philly cheesesteak sandwich bc it was terrible. Service and food has gone down hill since we last visited.
