Negligence on the part of Passport Health Charlotte, NC. Harris Corners. If you have a choice go to Cary, NC Passport Health franchise. Superb service and international travel expertise in Cary. Better to make the drive to Cary and speak with consultants who have actually traveled internationally. Don't loose days ill overseas or risk in an overseas clinic or hospital because your travel consultant didn't have the foresight to provide medication options that fit your travel itinerary. Scheduled an appointment, it all went well but ran into a problem when canceling. I got my insurance to cover my travel medicine so I didn't need the appointment, but now I'm told I have to pay these guy's $50 for no services performed. They auto-charged me, took my money anyways. I will be avoiding these guys in the future like the plague, they are thieves and someone needs medicine for places like this. My nurse Lynette was very pleasant and thorough, giving appropriate explanation for the necessary vaccinations. She also covered items she recommended for travel. Her documentation was careful, giving me a log to record all vaccinations.

We are traveling to Japan, Viet Nam, Cambodia and Thailand. Our Doctor advised us to try Passport Health. We rang for an appointment and got one within a day or two. When we arrived for the clinic, Tiffany had prepared a booklet specifically for us which covered the health issues in those countries, vaccinations recommended/required and the protective measures we could use to avoid or treat illness on the trip. Passport Travel Clinics make it all but impossible to speak to anyone beyond making an appointment. I tried to call a number of times before booking our appointments to see what the charges might be. It was extremely frustrating and I never did get the answers I requested. Between a rock and a hard place, we used them anyway because we had no local alternatives with available appointments in the time frame necessary. We used the clinic to receive travel vaccines.
