I went in today for a few vaccinations for my upcoming trip. On the screen, nurse Kate confirmed my personal information. The next screen contained some ridiculous fees for vaccinations, including an office consultation fee that Tanya did not mention when I made the appointment. I had a very disappointing experience. The nurse, Gina, arrived significantly late to my appointment and still charged me a $100 “no-show” fee, even though I was present and on time. That alone left a poor impression. During the visit, she repeatedly confused the country I am traveling to with Ghana and did not ask meaningful questions about my health or travel needs. Arrived for my son's appointment, the nurse told us he'll need $2500 worth of vqccines for the trip. His ticket for the trip was $1500. We asked to reschedule the appointment and after calling the health department we got the same for only $500. Besides the exorbitant price, nothing was done at the initial 'consultation' so when I called to cancel the appointment on a Tuesday around noon for a Thursday at 1500 I am being charged $100. We urgently needed vaccines for a trip to Africa. Passport Health provided next day service and took all 3 of our family at one time. Very thorough assessment of our needs for our specific trip. Great education on what we needed beyond the vaccines.
