Very easy to get an appointment. Kathryn was very knowledgeable and prepared a comprehensive packet explaining each vaccine I would need for my trip. She wasn't pushy about purchasing extras and was a master at injections! Also, and I am sorry I forgot her name, the front desk person was so welcoming and sweet. As an nurse and soon to be world traveler I highly recommend Passport Health Travel Clinic in Fort Collins.
Make sure you're crystal clear on their pricing before you go & also clarify between a vaccine appointment and a consultation appointment + what that costs, etc. 3 stars because I couldn't get the vaccine I needed before travel even though I cleared it with my doc beforehand. I should not have had to argue with their nurse after extended discussion with my doc about what was/was not okay for me to receive & when. This place is a scam. I made an appointment online for a vaccine because I’m traveling and need one. I signed up online for a vaccine (not the consultation) I was sat down anyways, given the “consultation” even though I already spoke with my doctor about said vaccine. They refused to give me the vaccine citing a medication interaction, which I already spoke with my doctor about and they gave me the all clear. Passport said I would need to come back with written doc note AND I would still be charged $140 for the appointment. ... read more
Got help from Kathryn at Passport Health for my trip to Panama. Got everything I need and they were extremely helpful and supportive. More than just getting the vaccines, I was able to ask questions and get guidance about travelling, the impact the vaccines would have on travel, my health. The whole deal. Top notch service!
Kathryn is great! I appreciated that she was really prepared for our visit -- had specific questions for us on some of our medical history; knew potential drug interactions; etc. She developed a really good plan for us and our trip to Africa.
