About this business

Since 1954, Pasquale's has been a Woodward Avenue tradition serving people of the metropolitan area. Pasquale's Restaurant is run by our family for the enjoyment of you and your family. Our recipes date back four generations. For years and years, the preparation of our Italian specialties was the sole domain of Papa Giuseppe. All of these traditional, Neapolitan recipes have been handed down and are still prepared daily by family members. Over the years, we have grown along with the North Woodward area. Our first restaurant ... read more

Mixed Bag – I do like the food. I like their pizza with pepperonis that are crisped until they start to curl and really brown on the edges. I like the flavor of the sauce, the warm garlic breadsticks and the homemade creamy Italian salad dressing. I never order anything different. But their prices are high, they do charge extra for everything - even extra sauce on the pizza. I believe the person who said it was ten cents per extra olive on the salad. With their prices, they should be able to afford to throw in a few extras. ... read more

Pizza too greasy, Rest of the food average at best – The pizza is too greasy and the rest of their food is average at best. I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza for take out a few months ago and grease had soaked through almost the entire box. I had to blot it with napkins so it wouldn't run down my fingers as I ate it. Truly disgusting! I actually went into the restaurant for dinner another night and the rest of their food isn't anything special. You can get better Italian food for your money at numerous other nearby restaura... read more

best pizza and pasta – I don't think that fine_diner is. The food and service here is outstanding. The pasta is fresh as well as the sauce. Fine_diner must be used to Spaghetti O's

Way Overrated – For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this completely average restaurant is totally packed every night of the week! I've tried lots of the entrees - the food is average. The prices are average, if not a little above. The service is average. The decor and atmosphere are average. What is the draw, people? In an area of suburban Detroit that is teeming with excellent, family-run Italian restaurants, I simply cannot fathom why this one is always the busiest. Truly puzzling.

Less than average but good for kids – I have to agree with the "Smokey and 409 smell" comment. The service was excellent and the staff is extremely kind. I felt like I was telling my Grandma I didn't like her coconut cream pie, so instead I just asked her to box it up and tossed it when I got home (too much raw coconut in it..my jaw hurt after a few bites. As for the dinner....well, not too good. I suggest ordering simple pizza or spaghetti. The chicken fettachini & veggies was not good. Great place for little kids...just or... read more

Large portions of Italian and American food with fair prices in a comfortable family atmosphere. – In Short The atmosphere at Pasquale's is low key and relaxed. Diners include families celebrating a birthday and couples who didn't feel like cooking. The decor consists of low lighting and Italian-themed paintings and photos. Pasquale Del Giudice's recipes date back four generations and are still prepared under the daily supervision of family members, whether it be pizzas, pastas, seafood, beef, veal, burgers or sandwiches.

Don't ask for extras – Don't ask for an extra side of spaghetti sauce or black olives for your salad because the restaurant will charge you. Even if you buy a bottle of wine, order an appetizer and an entree- if you want an extra side of salad dressing it will cost you. My wife asked for some extra black olives for her salad and our server indicated that it would cost us 0.10 cents per olive.......We are NOT kidding....

pasquales rules!! – the food is awesome. huge portions, you'll need a doggy bag. best deepdish pizza. fet alfredo is awesome and the noodles practically melt in your mouth. the service isn't all that great but everybody is friendly. if possible, try them during the week. i live closeby and drive past on a daily basis and their huge parking lot is always jammed full friday, saturday, sunday. check them out. you will definitely NOT be disappointed. i bet my money on it!!!!
