The woman whom braided my hair is an excellent stylist by nature but I should warn you, she is a barber by trade and pulls tightly. If your tender headed just go someplace that can do your hair with natural hair or where you would be more comfy. I think she's awesome and have known her for quite some time. My sister is a hairstylist, yea dreads take some time to lock. this isn’t about the locking. this about the quality of work. no passion, the work looks worst than when you walk in. The “retwist” was just the hair rubbed with beeswax at the roots. Everything else was the same before leaving home. Waste. Definitely not the place for dreads. I saw the rebuttals on here with the low rated and thought maybe it wasn’t a bad place. The braids turned out great. Really nice, but my granddaughter did not enjoy the process. She said that she was scolded when she complained about the pain.
I'm new to dreadlocks, and I previously went to someone before going to paseo. However, since going to Paseo, my locks started to show more, and my hair grew. The best part for me is that I never have to worry about availability. Overall, the owner is very nice, and she has done my family members hair as well.
Never been to this place but I just came here to tell everyone who shared their review thank you . Was contemplating going there but for a salon owner to argue in the comments with her patrons just says a lot about the type of service offered there
