I brought my Dad to the new ER Saturday night. Everyone there was professional and caring. They kept things positive and moving, sharing as much information as they could and apologizing when they could not. Most impressive was how much they shielded us, their clients, from the stresses and difficulties of such difficult and critical work while still being authentically human. I had same day surgery there yesterday. The nurses, anesthesiologist and staff were OK and tried to be very helpful. However, I was told the Dr. would be in to speak with family and he never even showed to speak with me. To at least inform me of how surgery went. Not to mention I was told to bring my own medicines to take there as if they couldn't or didn't want to afford giving them to me there. Was told the Dr was giving me pain meds and o never got anything. Will definitely be changing drs so I don't have to go back there... read more
I came here last night for a car accident because the EMTs suggested it would be fast ... which it wasn't.....and the ER was just redone... which it was... but that's all it has going for it. The staff is very rude and the doctor clearly didn't want to be there. He didn't want to hear about anything I was saying. My mother has been a nurse at a different hospital for over 35 years so I thought I knew what to expect. It was the complete opposite and I will never go here again. Hands down the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a hospital I had to wait in excess of 20 plus minutes for a nurse to come when they decided to come out of all the staff it was maybe two nurses that were kind to me the housekeeping staff treated me better than the nurses there I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this hospital I see why it was closed down for an abundance of years horrible Place absolutely horrible not to mention I banged my knee because the nurse would help me go to the bathroom as well as I slept... read more
