Dr. Harvey Partridge built the St.Petersburg veterinary hospital in 1978, and in 1995, he sold the practice to a corporation of veterinary hospitals named VCA (Veterinary Centers of America). Dr. Partridge left the practice in 2003. Dr. David Landers began working at Partridge Animal Hospital in St. Petersburg in 2007, and he purchased the practice from Dr. Partridge in 2010. I live in Citrus County, Florida. My senior cat Tina was in need of an ultra-sound. Due to limited access locally I contacted Partridge Animal Hospital. Nate, who took my call was receptive and understood my dilemma. He set up an appointment for me the very next day. When I arrived I was very pleased to see that both staff and critter moms and dads were wearing masks. A bit disappointed with my experience at Partridge... It's obviously very busy, and they do provide quality care for your pets. All the staff are pleasant and amicable. But I think I can find better care for my dog elsewhere. I asked a week in advance to pick up her Bravecto & Interceptor meds, reminding them every time I spoke with someone. I asked 4 times, and still on the day-of, they didn't have it prepared. When I did pick up my dog, they didn't give me any real information aside from "she's doing great!". I requested t... read more
Welcoming and informative staff. Brittany was very friendly and Dr. Sparks very warm and professional. Glad she works with exotic animals as I have two bunnies that will be in good hands!
My 14 year old pug had his yearly checkup last week with Dr. Sparks and she was great! So was the tech Joey. They were very caring, really took their time with my pet and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable that the practice was taking the proper precautions and I felt safe during the visit.
