Dr. Harvey Partridge built the St.Petersburg veterinary hospital in 1978, and in 1995, he sold the practice to a corporation of veterinary hospitals named VCA (Veterinary Centers of America). Dr. Partridge left the practice in 2003. Dr. David Landers began working at Partridge Animal Hospital in St. Petersburg in 2007, and he purchased the practice from Dr. Partridge in 2010. Great Doctors and staff!!
Without a doubt, the BEST in animal care to be had. This is a group of veterinarians who are passionate about animals. Their skills are far & away the best that I have had the fortune to find. My toy poodle had her back totally scalped - hips to shoulder - and had punctures all over her body from a vicious 80 lb neighborhood dog. The first 3 vets that we saw couldn't control the bleeding nor the consequent infections, nevermind the inadequate bandaging. The Partridge family had it all under control at the first visit. All of the doctors and staff here are so great - they all treat my fur baby like their own. Adam is an amazing tech - Ruby gets so excited to see him! He was very calm and comforting when I had to drop her off for surgery. I feel 100% confident she’s in the best hands every time I bring her in.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We happened upon Partridge and Dr. Freeborg a few years ago, and they were so great, decided to take my kitty Sonora there. Dr Freeborg is simply the best,the guy is a rock star of veterinarians. The staff is caring, kind and professional. Unfortunately, it's time for my girl to cross the bridge, she is my heart and I will miss her forever. I am completely heartbroken. But we will be there for her right to the end. Can't thank you enough for taking care of my newest fur baby Bandito. He was very sick when I brought him in this past Monday and everyone was wonderful, from the front staff, the techs and Dr. Freeborg. You were all so kind and caring and he is doing great now! You are all the best!
I can't say enough about this Animal Hospital. The best I've ever had in my life. My little Chihuahua Buddy came in 5 month's ago with Kidney failure and the Doctor's were fantastic. They didn't give him much time but gave me the hope to try and not just put the dog down. Buddy passed this morning with Dr. Freeborg at my side. I'm happy to have had 5 more month's with Buddy as he was almost 19 years old. Thank you for all your kindness and my pain in the a** phone calls. You all are the best.
Dr. Partridge is by far the best veterinarian I have ever met!! And his staff is equally outstanding! My fur baby needed surgery and I was a total mess..but they were so kind and caring! My baby is good as new now and we will always make the 2 hour drive for care in this office. Thank you Dr. Partridge and staff!!
