This place is the quietest motel we have ever stayed in. The rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and well decorated. Even with neighbors with small children next door, the only time they can be heard is going outside to their car. Plenty of shade and outdoor seating as well. We will definitely be coming back to the Parrot Nest on our next trip to Sanibel Island.
We have stayed at Parrots Nest several times. Tropical setting, quiet, close to the lighthouse, the beach and great restaurants. Nothing fancy, but I love the quirkiness. The yard is fabulous with grills and playground.
We love small, quirky, but comfy places, and this is IT for Sanibel Island! It's near the lighthouse on the east end, so it's nice and quiet, and small (6 studio cottages), yet so close to restaurants, beaches, and all the naturally beautiful spots on this island. Our room has a kitchenette, and a lovely patio. Room 5 is our favorite. We come here almost every year. We just love it.
Excellent place!! Heading back there again this year
