Grilled chicken with dirty rice and mashed potatoes was delicious!
Worst oysters-on-the-halfshell I have ever had. Otherwise, this is a great family restaurant. NEARBY Galatoire's has national respect and fame. The Acme Oyster House is a regional powerhouse. Parrain’s has to step up to meet its immediate competition. There is no excuse to serve sour oysters.

Just passing through Baton Rouge on our way home to Houston, my husband wanted to take us here to have a good meal as he travels here on business often and really likes it. The food was fantastic and our service was attentive and pleasant. Fantastic last meal ending our vacation.
