Walking in, it just felt really unfriendly. Nobody looked professional-more like they all just rolled out of bed-and I don’t really care if the staff looks amazing, just feel like in a luxury setting, they should look the part. I have naturally curly hair, so finding a stylist who can give me a good blow out - without making me feel guilty - is tougher than you’d think. Indya in Cameron Village is not only a talented Stylist, but she’s a lovely human too! She remembers me every time I come in & always asks about my family. I really appreciate that & love the way my hair looks when I walk out of the door. 💁🏽
I scheduled a big & full blowout and it was great! I specifically told my stylist not to make my hair super big and explained what else I wanted and she followed everything. I have thick hair so I scheduled it for an hour and it lasted the whole time, they even started me a few minutes early which helped a ton. The curls fell throughout the night but not bad, just a little bit. I did stay out at my event pretty late into the early morning so of course my curls didn't look picture perfect then. I've been here twice now and have had less than satisfactory experiences both times. My hair is always still wet underneath and my hair is never smooth. Going to a blowout bar should be a luxury experience and you will not find that here.
