It was a good experience. ☺️
I rented a unit in this building for far too long. Many reoccurring issues within the unit. To list a few, the closet on the exterior wall constantly grew mold, even with cleaning and painting with kilz. Had to leave it empty. The plumbing was horrible, kitchen sink never had hot water pressure due to the lines filling with crud. The bathroom sink/shower took 20+mins to warm up, no joke. This building is charming, but the black mold, plumbing issues, leaking roof, and lack of care from the management do it no good. Unless your looking for a quick cheap place to live, look elsewhere. The bums that are always digging in the garbage or breaking into cars, also add to its charm. They are asking $800 for a unit that should cost $400. bring a air purifier upon move in.
Its nice little vintage building. Unfortunately the building has not been kept up so there quite few dings and dents.
