Just wanted to thank the nurses for taking great care of my father the past four days. The treatment and communication was terrific

Business response:

Lisa Southworth, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Parkview Huntington Hospital!

Always have had excellent care from everyone! Very clean hospital, caring staff, wonderful doctors and makes going to the hospital not such a scary place!

Business response:

Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!

This team taught me that quality healthcare is privilege, not a right, afforded to some. After releasing information, accessing my chart, and answering specific questions about me, they never acknowledged their violation of my basic human rights. They spoke without any verification, to another party confirming that I was indeed their patient, that I was having surgery, and proceeded to tell them information which would require me to take a risk in the operating room. Brought to their attention, they were rude while adressing... read more

My daughter, 12, went to the hospital because she got up compass stuck in her foot by stepping on it. It wasn't in there much more than half an inch but I couldn't get it out so we went to the ER and they tried to give her fentanyl! Then a friend of mine took her son in their for similar reasons getting heard as a kid and they tried to give him Fentanyl at 6 years old!! And just last night my friend went to the hospital for chest pain , and they tried to give her pain pills and did nothing to check her heart. Did I mention s... read more

My heart is broken from the treatment my son I received from a nurse in the woman’s and children’s hospital there. My son has a developmental disability and this nurse was horrible to him, I cried the whole time he was in surgery!! I will not have my child go back there as long as I can help it. Very disappointed and heartbroken. Needless to say my son is traumatized from today and I will forever have problems with him not wanting to go into any hospital because one bad person ruined it!!!

Business response:

Amanda Callahan, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. Please consider reaching out to one of our Patient Advocates so that we can learn more and look into this matter. You can reach them at (260) 373-9226 or Patient-Advocate@parkview.com. Thank you.

The staff at this hospital are awful! They are so rude! The way they handle the patients and the family of the patients is so unprofessional. They hang up on you and are just all around nasty to people.

Go anywhere else. Unless of course you want to be stuck with bills for services not received or even offered. I’ve never been more disappointed in a health group, and would not recommend Parkview to anyone, for anything. I’m sure there are some good Drs there, but the parkview system from my experience has been so horrible it’s almost comical.

Business response:

Julianne Bowles, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide. Please consider reaching out to a Patient Advocate so that we can look into this matter for you. You can reach them at (260) 266-1244 or Patient-Advocate@parkview.com. Thank you.
