Living at parkside for two years I have a lot to say about what changes/consistent issues have concluded my decision to not renew my lease and move out immediately. I have been living in this place for 2 years. I picked this location only because it is near the UofT campus and subway station. Staffs in the Cafeteria are friendly and hospitable, but some management staffs tend to be negligent and irresponsible to the incidents based on my experience in Parkside. My room is empty and look very old, with moldy floor and broken furnitures which mostly never get repaired even if they cause sanitary issues. Stayed at Parkside for four months in a shared room and would not recommend it. The walls between rooms have basically zero sound insulation. You can hear everything happening next door, even whispering. The AC is also very noisy, so between that and the walls, getting decent sleep was a challenge. The room itself was cramped for a shared space, and the bathroom was consistently dirty. Wifi was unreliable and slow, which is a big problem if you need it for school or work.
