Unfortunately my mom used to live there. She fell in the middle of the night, the lights don't turn on automatically and I'm sure she was confused in the dark, (I get confused in the dark) she had bleeding on the brain and was in ICU. The hospital had her clothes in a bag, no pajamas, no adult underwear, which means they don't even put pajamas on them before going to bed. Also she may have been lying on the floor for several hours before they found her. Heartbreaking....
The resident are living in black mold and hazardous conditions, at times they don’t have hot water or they are left to sit in their own Feces
Upper management not good. They delete your reviews to make it look like 5 stars. Wouldnt want my family member here.
Well, my first review was taken down after a day. I reposted and they left it for a month then took it down AGAIN. Cant remove reviews to make it look like 5 stars. Anyways they claim they are "like family" but when it comes to it it's all about the money. I'm an old employee and tried to visit a resident that had NO family and she was about to pass away they told me I was not allowed to come see her and let her pass away alone. They’re taking great care of my Dad. Very impressed with the staff, clean facility. So grateful that we found this place!
Since my last review was deleted, I will post again. This place states they are "Family " and care about their residents. As a past employee I was promised by umbreen the owner I could come visit my resident who had no family and considered me her only family. At a time of need i tried to come visit and i was told to leave the building. That's not family.
We are so happy with Moms transition to Parkside. She is happy here. Staff is beyond EXCELLENT! Food is wonderful. Such a caring place. We can't recommend a better place for your loved ones.
