I don't mind waiting as long as the food will be good, and the table (4th table from door facing GR and the Windows) and chair that I'm seating in don't have 1.5" gap between it's leg and the floor. The service was fine, but the food was way overrated. I wouldn't waste my time or money coming back here again. Another overhyped place in Midtown (aka the food desert amongst gentrified hipsters).
Sooo good! Cinnamon Roll like no other - potato hash excellent!
Amazing bfast in a beautiful old building in the heart of the D (walking distance from tiger stadium (aka comerica park) ford field & mgm & motor city casinos. The most surprising part was they took our party of 8 out of line & seated us in the dining room of Republic -quiet with lots of room, little wait and AMAZING food!
Outstanding! I don't know why I waited so long. We will definitely be back.
What an amazing restaurant with great food, great service! WOW
I tried to like it but just wasn't impressed. Sent back my first choice (bread pudding) because I didn't like it. Got my second choice (apple cider French toast) which was too sweet. Trying too hard to be trendy. BUT, the people were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. Just not impressed with the food.
