Cute and original. The waffle had excellent flavor even though it was a bit cold.
Business response:
I'm glad you enjoyed your experience we are sorry, your waffle was a bit cold:(
Great as usual. I had the Migas; delicious chorizo in that. My wife did even better with the I yam what I yam; bourbon sauce was perfect. Only complaint is the slow earlier eaters. About an hour wait in the rain. Maybe a canopy is in the near future???
Business response:
Thank you for being so patient especially with the rain.
I had to wait over an hour just to get a table this morning, but the wait was totally worth it. That was the best damn omelette of my life.
OMG...everything was sooo good i kissed the owner & pissed my pants. I am so happy. Bloody mary made w/ homemade habanero hot sauce & Shot stiegl radler backer. The food....? OMG. DID I SAY HOW HAPPY I AM? BEST & FRESHEST FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN IN DETROIT!!! I will return. Thank you SUPER DAVE, BRENDI & ALL THE STAFF. i felt at home & very welcome. "Carter"
I've had a variety of meals here but never the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit Sammich. While it might sound like an everyday choice, this was not your fast food sandwich. The freshly-made biscuit had lots of flavor and the sausage included some very savory spices. The cheese was perfectly melted and the egg done just right. I added some wonderful home first that were perfect. Surrounded by a great atmosphere and treated with outstanding service, how could you go wrong? In case you're wondering--you can't go wrong here.
What a great place right down in the heart of the D! Easy walk over from the David Whitney where we stayed, and you get your name on the board for a table. Great and unique menu stables and even better specials. We had the Huevos Verdes (special) and Chilaquiles, both excellent. Accompanied it with a Bloody Mary (uber spicey) and Mimosa. You may have a wait depending on time of day, but it’s definitely worth it! Also very friendly staff, which is needed to get 5 stars. I will absolutely return, and recommends.
