⭐ 1 Star – Unacceptable Customer Service & Outrageous Pricing I had an extremely disappointing experience with ParkLane Cleaners, and I feel compelled to warn others. I brought in two simple tailoring requests: A basic hem for wide-leg pants — I was charged $25.00, which is absurd. Since when does the width of a pant leg justify a higher charge? For the past 18 years I have used cleaners in El Segundo because I worked there. Unfortunately the business closed its doors and I couldn't justify driving 14 miles versus 2 miles just for my laundry So I decided to give ParkLane cleaners a try because they are only 1 mile from me. i recently got a denim skirt tailored at the waist here. The girl at the front quoted me $18-20 (Tuesday) and told me it would be ready in 24 hours, 48 hours the latest(Thursday). I highly doubted the alteration could be finished in a day so I made sure to come back on Thursday morning. The owner (a man) was there. I had been searching for about a year and a half for someone to repair a broken underwire in a vintage bikini top I have. Every place I called or went to said they couldn’t do it, I stopped in here and they said they would see what they could do. I came back to pick it up and they had fully repaired it!! It was even torn and had some rust stains where the wire was broken and it now looks brand new, no tears or stains, and a brand new underwire!
