Let me tell you how awesome Pioneer is. I made a mistake when installing my unit. I was installing a multi 5 zone system and fired the system up without the last indoor head connected up (which you can do, the heads that were connected were over the minimum loading) however, I had run the control wire for that head and connected it to the outside unit. Technical support, via website chat, was very helpful. My unit wasn't powering up at all, "Sean G" asked for pictures of specific parts of wiring and electrical, and upon first suggestion was able to identify crossed wires between indoor and outdoor units. After a long and grueling process of installing my first two mini splits, the delivery of units and customer service were highlights for me, especially at the end when I was ready to be done, and enjoy some heat comfort.
Don't buy, zero customer support. No response to emails and forget about trying to call or chat. Waited 3 hours and nobody.
Pioneer's support team are quick to respond and very helpful. They did a great job helping me getting my unit up and running pretty quick.
My wife and I have put in 2 and we're 70 and 78. The quality, price, chat room technical support, avilable accessories and INSTRUCTION MANUEL are best kind-but the performance is what will be telling them congrats.
