The cocktails! Had the smoked Trinidad sour. Get it if you like Mezcal!
French fries and polenta
Who can say no to boozy smoothies? Excellent place for brunch (sit outside if the weather's nice) and dinner.
The reasons to go here are the excellent pancakes, cast-iron baked eggs with gruyere, spinach and serrano ham, and the brunch cocktails like their "Boozy Smoothie" with bourbon, espresso, and banana.
A star on the menu is the ruby red grapefruit brûlée, with a swipe of crème fraîche and a chiffonade of mint ($6)—it actually makes me want to eat grapefruit for breakfast.
If you had a rough night, the boozy smoothie ($10) will get you back in action, a healing combination of Bulleit bourbon, banana, and espresso.
Weinberg hired really good bartenders who pay homage to the Mooses with such drinks as Mary Etta's Bubbles ($10) and Ed's Negroni ($10)
My favorite raw dish is a plate of bite-size vegetables - radishes, carrots, green cauliflower and celery - surrounding a green goddess dip thick with tarragon and other freshherbs.
Can't recommend this place enough. Great service!
