Dr Park was an RN before she became an accomplished dentist. Point is she has a strong medical background. I appreciate that. I've been using Dr. Park for at least ten years. She provides an excellent service at a very fair price. Her bedside manner has always been excellent to me. I care about equipment being sterile and fully functional. Dr. Park's equipment is. Pain? I love Dr Parks. She is so sweet and treats you like you are her family. She doesn't overcharge like castle dental and others. I have gone to her for over 10 years and would not go anywhere else. I feel very comfortable with her. Her work is very satisfactory. I have never experienced pain and I can not figure out the bad reviews some of the other people are giving. They are probably just mean people who love to say mean things for no reason.
Doctor Park at Galaxy Dental has been providing my dental care for over 9 years. She and her staff frequently ask me how I am feeling during dental procedures. The offices and equipment appear very clean. The waiting area is very comfortable. I never feel pressure to get dental procedures I don't need, and they always have my best interest in mind. I gave Dr. Park with Galaxy Dental a try 11 years ago when I was dissatisfied with the service received at a major dental chain in the Houston area. At Galaxy they frequently ask me how I am doing during dental procedures. My wellbeing is a priority. I've never seen a dental office that cares about their patients more than they do. Dr. Park made me feel as though she was afraid to touch me. In fact, she never touched me to look at a broken molar from which a filling had fallen. I believe it was an assistant who looked at my tooth.... Just LOOKed! Then they charged me for a full exam and cleaning ( to my PPO coverage company). Then she referred me a specialist in the Houston Galleria area while I live in Texas City! Also this man was prepared to charge me an exorbitant amt. for an exam & then 1000's for a possible cap. I would like to spare others out there before they go to Dr. Park. First, the facility is very dirty, the floor had a bug and then hair. The instruments did not appear to be sterile. I had my teeth cleaned and examined, and I felt like she would to stick the instrument on my bare gum, and would tell not to go there. They did not suck the spit out of my mouth and I had to swallow the extra saliva with the chemicals she used. It was a horrible experience, and I did not feel comfortable.
Horrible! Avoid this dentist! Impersonal, rushed, and didn't listen to my needs. Notified her of pain during filling and she kept going without any more pain medication!!! Told her of pain in another tooth...and she told me "it was nothing" and did nothing about it. 6 months later another dentist told me I had cavity in that exact spot!!!
I first went to see Dr Park when I had a horrible toothache. I got an appointment very quickly. She was very through and gently examined my mouth. I had to have an extraction and went back to Dr. Park. She removed the tooth with little to no pain- only pressure at the beginning of the procedure. Also, when I called her office over the holidays, her staff was very helpful.
