I had a wonderful experience here. Well, wonderful is hard to say when you suffered a broken leg from hiking in the area. I was well cared for right from the start. Everyone was kind and helpful. They took care of my leg and ended up doing the surgery the next day I couldn’t have asked for a better surgical staff Even the hospital food was good! Skilled and experienced staff and everyone is very caring and polite and kind. Thank you!
So I had a skating accident up there. Hit my face, knees, arms, back. They got me in made sure I wasn’t broken, then they left. I was laying in the hospital bed for the better part of an hour with my face gashed open, then they brought my sister in, and we waited and waited for a time that’s not even funny. Someone stopped by asked something then left. We were sitting there for way too long. I would’ve gotten up and left if my home wasn’t three states away. (We were on vacation). Doctors at UC facility dont follow SOP's they wing it and call it "standard levels of care" and will maim you for life and there is nothing you can do about. If you can make it go anywhere else 20 extra mins will benefit you in the long runn God help you your only here for the helipad When asked how much pain I was in I told them 9 and I'm in more pain than when I got here.
