I fell while on vacation in Estes Park. A volunteer firefighter saw me fall, came right way and called for ambulance. Boe, Connor and Case were the EMT’s that gave me excellent care while transporting me to Estes Medical Center. After I arrived I received immediate attention. All of my doctors are here. They are all wonderful! There are both primary care doctors, as well as specialists and labs. They also perform major surgeries!
10yrs ago I had a severe brain injury in downtown Estes while at work and was taken to this hospital. I was lucky to have survived that incident due to my artery being cut and brain swelling along with spinal fractures. I was taken by ambulance to Estes park medical center and remember being treated by Dr Macelwee in the ER for stitches. Despite being very low on oxygen levels and had severe blood loss and brain swelling they released me that evening to go home. I was on oxygen for 2 months at home after the fact. I came in by ambulance and the treated me quickly and well
I had a wonderful experience here. Well, wonderful is hard to say when you suffered a broken leg from hiking in the area. I was well cared for right from the start. Everyone was kind and helpful. They took care of my leg and ended up doing the surgery the next day I couldn’t have asked for a better surgical staff Even the hospital food was good! Skilled and experienced staff and everyone is very caring and polite and kind. Thank you!
