If I could leave negative stars I would! A few years ago when I returned to estes and started my health care journey, I was very happy with the doctors and level of care they gave... but shortly after it's turned horribly. As soon as you finally get comfortable with a GOOD doctor they leave because working here is hell (I've been told)... once your good doctor leaves, then you're tossed around and handled as if you're an inconvenience to be making appointments. No issues with the health care, but billing can be an absolute nightmare. They just don't seem to care about getting paid. I've never spent so much time trying to get someone to accept payment. Very Frustrating. On a refreshing note, the insurance company is actually trying to help ( :
Visitors to Estes Park do not waste your time here, they only take advantage of travelers. My wife and I were in Estes for a wedding, after four days, she came down with an obvious sinus infection. The doctor at EPH incorrectly diagnosed it as altitude sickness the minute she walked into the room and refused to provide antibiotics. We got a hold of our local doctor who sent out a prescription and what do you know she felt better in two days. EPH charged us $400 for a 30 minute visit and did not help us at all.
To Estes Park Colorado .. 911 and EMTs and Police officers who came to our rescue I thank you. I forgot names but to the man who drove my truck for me with my dogs to the hospital YOU are amazing. Had to make a late night er visit & figured it would be a 6 hr thing. 3 hrs, diagnosed & on my way back to the hotel. Very nice & knowledgeable staff. The gal who did my IV was amazing, I have crappy veins & not only did she find one she didn't even leave a bruise. Like seriously, wish I could take her with me for all future IVs. Lol
