Most beautiful dining experience – I had an amazing time dining at Park Grill. In fact, my boss rents a small section of it every year and it's a wonderful time every time.
Nice view – I came here for lunch with some co-workers a couple weeks ago for the first time. One of them had booked a reservation online (isn't technology wonderful?) so our wait time was pretty short. The first thing I noticed after being seated was the view of the ice skaters, which I thought was cool. It's a nice change from the typical restaurant. Disappointed – Had my birthday dinner there yesterday and was really disappointed with the food and service when my party stated that our food was overcooked. The beef tenderloin, lamb chops, and prime sirloin were all overcooked. We asked the server to take our food back and she made us cut to items open to prove ourselves and that's completely incomprehensible. Park Cafe was outstanding! – I ate here with friends during a visit to Chicago, and we chose to eat outside at the more casual "Park Cafe" (the outdoor portion of Park Grill, where the ice skating rink is during winter). The food and cocktails were excellent, and although it started to rain during our lunch, the service was also friendly, efficient, and helpful. Best Burger in Chicago!!!! – I think that they serve one of the best burgers in the world! It was absolutely fabulous! I very highly recommend this burger ... with cheese of course!
Solid upscale casual – Excellent burgers, great salads, decent wine list for an upscale casual restaurant. Opted for the cheese plate over a sweet dessert - very good. Wished more local product were evident. Would go there again - love the park location.
Great atmosphere – After researching many places in Chicago, I took my wife to the Park Grill. It was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was not full so we were seated right away. The atmosphere was awesome! The music not too loud and the temperature very comfortable. Our waitress was very attending and made excellent recommendations. Great Patio Dining – I've been to the park grill for lunch a number of times now. The service can range from just ok to quite bad, with some servers bordering on snooty and others being reasonably gracious but just not totally competent. They are almost always busy as well, so catching someone's attention is difficult, and the waiters are not very good about stopping by to inquire about needs.
