My husband and I have visited several times and enjoyed the live racing. I go to see the magnificent horses, so the gambling, booze, partying and whatever else is going on is pretty much irrelevant to me. I do wish they had more comfortable seating in the grandstand and better food options at the concessions, because I would be happy to sit and watch the races from beginning to end! 7 races two days a week why bother run harness sept-dec and have full fields and lots of races
It's super fun entertainment...and one to fit any budget. Derby Day is always crowded, so just plan for it. Be happy, be friendly and enjoy the day!!! Thanks to all the staff, jockeys and horses...I love going to the races!!!
