Great value for the price and some of the best square footage you can find in the area. However, the quality of living did not meet our expectations. as much as the elevators are out, you would think that they replaced them with ones that actually work. In all my time of living here I don’t think there’s been one time where all 3 elevators were working at the same time. Just abysmal. DO NOT LIVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Don’t live here unless you like cardio, elevators are always broken and never fixed. Walking up and down 26 flights of stairs with my equipment for work is my favorite thing to do.
3 year resident. I am eager to move out, and I would not recommend moving in. The buildings at charles plaza are very old, there are persistent maintenance issues, and rent increases apace with no acknowledgement of the lack of quality living we assumed we’d get when signing the lease. The headline issue is that the few elevators break down consistently and the staff makes stair access difficult or impossible.
