I love the concept of this place - outdoor dining in the park where my four-legged companions are welcome, and even have their own menu items to choose from. My human friend and I were craving pancakes, so we decided to drive over to Park Bench and take her pup along for the ride. dog friendly, great location This is a great place to have breakfast. First, take a walk around the lake at Central Park (with or without your dog), then sit down at this outdoor cafe and have a great meal. Your puppy can hang out with you too! Menus cater to both human and canine...we love coming here.

Just got back from eating at the Park Bench Cafe, and did not have a pleasent experience. I was with my wife and it seemed like it took forever for the waitress to even bring us water. We ordered some breakfast and found that the eggs were thoroughly undercooked and the biscuits were not very soft. Each time I asked for a refill, the waitress made it seem as if she was doing me a favor. We even asked for another server, but were told they were under staffed. I do not like attitude with my eggs. We decided to meet at this cafe since we had heard they were dog friendly, of course some of us have dogs and we were looking for a place to meet, majority of the customers had dog and it was going great until we requested to sit in the shade. We were told it was not possible (even though there were plenty of empty tables in the shade) when we asked to speak with the manager, he never showed up at our table. How can anyone go wrong with breakfast, well this restaurant managed screwing up even the simplest breakfast. My friends and I decided to have breakfast at this lovely park since it is know for being dog friendly,. Well if you are a dog there are no complaints great environment however if you are expecting good food then you are at the wrong place. I would not go back!!!

I love this place. I used to live right down the streeet and frequented this place often. It's great becauase my pup could sit with me while I ate. They even have a doggie menu. Goober loves the peanut butter snacks. It's a great little location right along side the trails in Central Park. The staff is always friendly, and the food is good.

Refreshing We love going to this place after spending a couple hours at the dog park nearby. A lot of people come with their dogs so there is usually some barking (especially if we're there). We love the food - the omlettes are very big and loaded with avocado and cheese and other yummy things. They have a nice bread selection. The coffee is OK. Bring your dog This quaint restaurant is located in central park. It has outdoor seating and the food is ok. The prices are also ok. The great thing about this place is that the seating is outdoors and you can sit with your dog and eat. Yes they have a special menu for dogs which includes pupcycles. The dogs are given their own bowls, and boy you should see those tails wagging.
