I went with the advice of " you get what you pay for" but that back fired. Roaches are a big problem here. Apparently no matter how tidy your space is, your neighbors can and will ruin it for you. They keep trying to spray for them but they wont get rid of the source, so it stays a continuous problem. We have seen SIX roaches just this week. There was one crawing ON MY ARM this evening. Oh and they're still raising our rent. I didn't realize the roach package costed extra. They also took away our assigned parking spots. So ... read more

It has been such a highlight of being here in the Shenandoah Valley - the surrounding community is quiet and respectful. The property manager Theo is one of the best I have ever dealt with. If I had to say one negative - it sometimes smells like marijuana from time to time. But it seems like it's gotten better over the past couple months. Overall - I would highly suggest Park Apartments.
Really nice management team and perfect for animal lovers
I lived in Park Apartments for 3.5 years and it was truly amazing. I was looking for an off-campus place to live for my sophomore year and Park Apartments was easily the best option with affordable rent, proximity to campus, and utilities/services provided. You get a free reserved parking spot with each apartment too, which is a major plus for me.
