Surgery on 5/30/2023, length of stay - 7 days, Discharge on 6/6/2023. I cannot believe the care that I received at Stone Springs Hospital. From being asked for a large amount of money days prior to my scheduled surgery with absolutely no explanation as to what I was paying for, except to be told that I was getting a 20% discount. To being called in early the day of surgery only to be treated like a car battery that needed to be jumped. My sister was there for 11 days and they had NO HOT WATER for showers! Unacceptable!!!! That’s abuse

Still trash a year later. I went in for my lymph node and gland area, they give me information about neck injuries. I know its not an injury. I explained to them several time a month ago the other side was hurting like this and I was given antibiotics and 2 weeks after completing the antibiotics the other side is doing the same. I can barely move my neck fast cuz it feels like I'm being stabbed in my tonsil area. I pointed the area out and everything. I was treated by Lewis Gale for a suspected UTI. No one was in lobby so I was escorted straight to exam room. Saw Dr Joseph Joyce, urinalysis was done (which I could never get results of), Rx was called into pharmacy. Medical record indicates I was in exam room 12:07 and out at 12:14. LESS THAN 10 min! All paperwork was signed on the way out, I was told it was so they could bill my insurance. I paid the 150.00 copay before leaving, they said it was an "emergency visit" co-pay. My mother had back surgery last week and spent one night after the surgery. We have nothing but good things to say about the entire staff and hospital conditions. Everyone from registration, pre-op test groups, the operating room staff, floor nurses, cafeteria staff, house keeping, and volunteers were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. One example was that they quickly changed the order of the pre-op tests when a sudden ER emergency required staff from the bloodwork group to go to ER.... read more

The nasty attitude from a ER Doctor I have ever had. Will NEVER go back there. I was sent from my PCP's office with really bad stomach pains, nausea, fever and vomiting. I waited over 2 hours in the waiting room. The resident that I had was very nice. But, she didn't say that she was a resident. Lab work, urine test and CT scan. The resident came in and told me they were admitting me with a 7mm non-obstructing Kidney Stone. Yes I was giving pain medication but had wore off.
