Going to seem petty but here is goes...I received a text at 7am on New years eve to confirm an appointment that was 15 days out. I was sleeping and this woke me up. I never saw the doctor and I recognize that it probably not their system but it is a system they're using and prospective patients do have choices. Might have been a great dude, I'll never know.
Truly the worst doctor I have encountered. He walked out while I was still asking questions and never found out what was wrong. Finally, found a new dr and was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. Run from this Dr.
Doesn't listen to his patients (at least me). Any time I tried to talk or ask questions, he would cut me off thinking he already knew what I was going to say. He performed a bunch of tests, gave one prescription, and said it would take a long time to get over it but that there was not much else we could do but wait. I eventually went to another doctor in his practice who discovered a host of issues including C-diff and five overgrowths of bacteria in my colon that needed to be treated. I'm a new patient to Dr. Patel and recently had my first colonoscopy. I was very nervous. Dr. Patel was VERY engaging, calm, professional, friendly, and easy to talk to about my fear(s). He was also very thorough in asking medical questions before the screening. I wish he could be my primary care physician because he's absolutely the BEST!! I should also mention that his staff is also very friendly and thorough.

I could give 0 stars if I could. First,Dr Patel did my endoscopy and made my situation worse even more worse with procedure. After that office and medical staff pays no attention leaving me to suffer and holds on to medical records. Go their to make your situation even horrible !
Dr. Patel is very knowledgeable, caring and has an excellent professional ("bedside") manner. He takes the time to answer all questions and was very clear in his instructions and reasoning. He convinced me to undergo gallbladder surgery when I was skeptical but truly needed it (it turned out). I have complete confidence in his abilities and his dedication to his patients. It is not exactly easy to get through this staff, but if you insist you will get there.
Dr. Patel inspires confidence in me and in my opinion is a true expert in his field. He did a great job of treating my G.I. issues, and explaining what the cause was due to. My experience with him in the hospital and out have been remarkable. I highly recommend him and will be sharing my experience with my family and friends.
