This is a review for the Day Surgery department only as I have no experience with the hospital Itself. 1. Jeremy- valet parking very welcoming and a rule follower. Sad that they are unable to accept tips as they provide a wonderful service. 2- Leah -reception was quick , efficient and very pleasant. 3- pre op Dr. Jones anesthesiologist , Mel and perhaps Glynis - lovely and put me at ease. 4- post op Sabrina, Zoe, Glynis ? and Moisis - also a great team.Kudos ! 5- operating room- Sam, Torrie, Brandy, Jennifer and Megan got me... read more
Triage nurses are more worried about stocking carts, figuring out how to lock them, moving computers around and calling maintenance than getting the patient IVs started. More worried about small talk with coworkers than actually working. No pep in their step. YOU WORK IN THE ER DEPARTMENT. DO BETTER. Will attach names once I get them. 1. I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Go to Advent. I’ve never seen the level of neglect this hospital ER has for its patients. I’m not sure who is running this place, but it is apparent they have created a culture where staff couldn’t care less about their patients. If you or a loved one is suffering, please avoid this place. After what I experienced yesterday, I can assure you that things will only worsen for you if you go here.
Despite the unsuccessful heart catheter I survived, most of the staff was very professional and helpful. One noteable exception was Matthew Lee Robison DO. He got my wife on speakerphone and told us both that I was being handed off to Mission Hospital for open heart surgery surgery using other veins from my body that would be chopped up like "Cabbage".
