Very professional staff that took great care of me following a biking accident. They moved fast, took the necessary precautions and informed me of everything they found. The ER doctor’s instincts lead to additional imaging that found more issues lurking that could have gone unnoticed. They did an excellent job and I was treated well. Thank you!
Have used Pardee Hospital for years. I grew up here. Sadly I'm seeing what is happening all across our country. Counties like Henderson, Bucombe, etc are allowing so many people to move here it is overwhelming every system we have in place. Hospitals, Schools, our Road Ways, driving house prices sky high. The counties just see dollar signs unfortunately. I have waited well over a month just to get CT Scan at this hospital as my Dr ordered. My husband arrived here via EMS services with a heart attack in progress. Exceptional coordination with Cardiac Cath unit and EMS staff- he was immediately prepped for Cardiac Cath procedure which was completed less than an hour of his arrival. He was immediately transported to the ICU unit where for the next 36 received exemplary care. The most pleasant surprise was the level of care when he was transferred to a regular medical bed. Courteous and efficient people.
The woman on Oct 23 9:30 am at emergency patient check in was extremely rude. From the very beginning. She was snappy not helpful. While I waited on daughter for exams she was probably the most horrible person I have ever delt with in 45 years of life.very unprofessional no matter circumstances.
