Raised rent $65! We've been here 15 months, overall we love our apartment BUT they just raised our rent at the end of our first lease by $65! They are also talking about charging an additional $25 for a mandatory trash pickup at our door in addition to the regular trash fee. CONS: Appliances are older, heater rattles, apartment was supposed to have upgraded floor but doesn't, privacy strips in fence are broken and trashy looking, landscape rocks are everywhere, walks and courtyards need powerwash, apartment is overpriced. Used to be terrible, then got better, now...eh. Used to be owed by some very terrible people thatblet it go down the drain. However, it was taken over and improved greatly over a couple years. For some reason, those good people were bought out and new people took over once again. Since then (about 4 months) the customer service aspect has gone down, rent is going up and changes are underway. Hopefully it doesn't go back down to the level it was previously.
Great Community This is a safe and friendly community. You have the option of adding a nice looking security door, which not only provides a sense of safety, it also allows the front door to be open , letting in the breeze but not the bugs. The gate is closed 24 hours, another safety feature. Apartments are quite spacious. Public areas are kept clean and the staff, maintenance and office, are polite and friendly. My dog is also very happy here. This is a wonderful place to call home.
Currently 'stuck' in a lease here for another 8 months... Worst rental experience ever - Cockroach infested, Mold and mildew deep in the kitchen counter top (that they refuse to replace because it is not at a lethal level), 2-Faced management seems nice to your face until you move in, then they ignore your maintenance requests... I asked 4 times to get the shower pipes cleaned out so we could use it... 4 TIMES! Also they LOST my walk-through review paper TWICE.
