I used to love this place. Been coming here for a few years now for my infusions. As of this year, I just keep getting the run around. I got new insurance and needed a prior auth, which I called to get started late January because my scheduled appointment is first week of April… here we are the end of March I keep getting the “we’ve escalated this” or “it’s still pending” BS that Julia A. mentioned a week ago! My prescriber sent my prescription here about a month ago now, and the whole time they have been waiting on “benefits verification” to be completed. I found out today that even though they have been saying this, they had never actually begun the benefits verification. I was told it would be “escalated” or “forwarded to the supervisor” or that I should call back in a week and it should be finished then, but nothing ever happened.
I have been waiting over 5 weeks to get "insurance verification" from Paragon, who say they have "escalated" this problem every time I call. They have placed it on me to keep calling them to do their job. There have been multiple times I have called that they have said they don't even have the order, even though there are other employees that have said that it is still pending verification. Run. Would not recommend this place. New infusion patient that’s been waiting on approval for a month now. They simply don’t care if you suffering and the smug unhappy woman at front desk is the rudest, most unprofessional person that I’ve ever encountered in my life. Surprised she still has a job. My wife received infusions here, and recently got new insurance. They had to push her infusion two weeks to get pre cert, which is understandable. My wife began experiencing pretty bad symptoms that led to an ER visit. She called Paragon to follow up on the pre cert and explained her symptoms were quite bad.
