This was the second time seeing Dr Chokshi. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better Gastroenterologist. I have found him to be caring and one who pays attention to my particular problems. Great physician.
My kind of Dr. Listened to my concerns and opinions. Shares his opinions but respected mine. Has excellent people skills!
I have seen Dr Chokshi 3 times. Once for a consultation and 2 times for a procedure. I really like Dr Chokshi and his entire staff. Care was great and his patient portal is really great also. Really helped me to understand the procedure and the results.
My first visit was disappointing with a horrible bedside manner doctor. Dr. Chokshi was very demeaning, he asks me past medical questions when I answered he would correct my response or let me know he was the smart one in the room..lol. Dr. Chokshi is very rude, with no patent empathy. I have children attending Medical school, I ask them to please be kind and have compassion for their patients and not to have social incompetence because word of mouth is a strong referral and for long success. Find a better doctor!
Arrived at 8:30 a.m., they took me at 9:30 a.m., typical for most doctors although I wished for better. Decent staff and procedure went satisfactory. However, I had an adverse reaction to the procedure, called well within office hours for either Dr. Choksi or his PA Shraddla and was assured of an immediate call back. As you can guess, I was not called back. No excuse for that.

My issue is not with the doctor it's with how his office is run, I had a similar situation as Kathy Ferguson. Yes, Kathy I do agree the office staff ignore whatever you try to explain they only want to hear themselves. I received a bill for a no show after I called and cancelled.
The doctor is fine but his biller really screwed up. I got a bill for over $3,000 because the biller didn't know to code a colonoscopy as a preventative procedure! Next time I'm going to Thailand if I have to pay $3K at least I'll get a vacation out of it!
He was thorough in investigating all possible reasons for gastric distress, articulating reasons why, and the tests he recommended. Answered all questions fully. He performed an endoscopy. I had been cautioned by friends that a dental crown might come off and I'd have a scratchy throat afterwards. There was no damage to dental and I felt perfectly normal afterward. The attending nurse said she had never seen any dental damage to any of his patients. Dr. Chokshi is impressive.
