Water hookups are too far away from camper. Our 25 foot hose wasn’t NEAR LONG ENOUGH. Be sure you have plenty of hose. Other than that, it was great😊
Hard not to give this place 5.0 �...a little room for improvement, but overall a great place. Camping right on the lake with larger level lots, fire pits, grill, cement picnic table, prep bar, plenty of old oak trees for shade and incredible views. Natural setting, quiet neighbors (even at Spring Break). Found it to be a great place to bring the kids and unwind. great location, there are two things that keep me from giving it 5 Stars. One is there are soooooo many stickers, they really need to clean that up. Two is we kept having problems with the electric plugs. At one point our whole row went out.
Spent the Columbus Day weekend and it was great. Very few campers and very quiet. Set up our hammocks and had an amazing view of the sunset. Went kayaking to a nearby island and saw a Bald Eagle fly over. Also went to Island View park/beach and enjoyed the time there as well. Overall, great place to relax and so close to DFW, will definitely be back.
