Me and my friends were in for Sunday brunch and were loving the new Chef/Menu. I had the Short Rib Sandwich, we also had the French Toast, a Burger and the Cesar Salad, wow this is the best brunch in Long Beach. Loved the bottomless mimosas and the make your own Bloody Marys (what a creative idea). There was entertainment that was really, really good, we will be back this Tuesday for the 2$ tacos. I am so thankful for have amazing food and right in my neighborhood.
First, let me start by saying that I work in the service industry and understand it's difficulties. So I get how crazy it can be. Food is good. Not excellent. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes Good. sometimes mediocre. Even when not busy. I Like this corner restaurant/bar. I just wish that I felt a bit more appreciated as a customer.
Julio is the Bomb !!! Give him a raise... but where are my favorite Chicken Nachos on the menu ????
I've been coming here for years & luv the atmosphere and workers. I don't like constant changes with the menu, portion size, and prices. I miss the Brown Sugar panini (chicken breast w/bacon $ avocado), the boneless wings half & half (half buffalo/half honey glazed, the mac n cheese balls, the chicken fried steak, and so many others. I pop in regularly and the last few weeks have been mind boggling. One week pitcher of beer was $10, next week $12.50.
