Nice Pet Care Facility – I've used Pappy's Pet Lodge for my dogs and cat for 8 years. The staff is always very friendly. My dogs get so excited when we tell them they are going to "camp" at Pappy's. Its a good feeling to know I don't have to worry about my pets when I'm away. This summer the George Bush location was sold out and I had the opportunity to use the Pappy's location at Springcreek/Coit as well as the location at Ohio Drive/Plano Parkway and found the level of service to be consistent at all 3 locations. check it out – i went by there to check the place out and it seemed to be a great place. i am having issues with the place that i take my dogs now, if it does not get any better i am highly considering bringing my dogs here.
Great Pet Care – I've been a client of Pappy's Pet Lodge since it opened 6-7 years ago. I've used all 3 locations and feel the staff and experience is the best fit for my dog. I recently boarded over Spring Break when I had a last minute business trip and the team at Pappy's worked hard to get my baby in for boarding. She returned home happy. Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!! – I just recently boarded my pets with Pappy’s Pet Lodge and could not be happier. I typically use their daycare and grooming services but had to go out of town for the holidays. The staff knows my pets every time I walk in the door and treat me as if I truly matter. I’ve always had luck with their groomers and love that they have webcam access that I can log on to watch my pets play while in daycare. Awesome Pet Care Facility! – I have used Pappy's Pet Lodge for boarding, grooming and dog daycare services for 6 years and have had nothing but excellent pet care and customer service. I'm a long time client and very picky about my dogs pet care. I realize there are other options but I guarantee you the people at Pappy's truly love the dogs and pets they care for and value their clients. Susan
5 year old scissor happy groomers – This location moved to the George B./ Alma location. I almost cried when I pick up my dog! Groomer had no experience with toy breeds! They even asked me to call my old groomer for tips! The president reponded to my complaint and they threatened me! They falsely accused me of creating a commotion and yelling at their staff. Don't get what you expect – My experience with this business was an absolute nightmare. Please take extreme caution when leaving your pets for an extended period of time with people you do not know, and when they have such high volume of customers. I am highly disappointed, and feel I was cheated. I have brought my dog there for several months for daycare and decided that I would board her over my holiday vacation in 2006; it was very scandalous for me, and I'm sure many other petowners who did not realize what was happening... read more

User review by maryjhenderson – Pappy's training program is excellent. They train you as well as your dog. The daycare is excellent. They continue the training practices during their time in daycare. I have a lab puppy and I was paying about $3.00 per day less for someone to spend about 15 minutes with him each day. With daycare he plays and gets his energy out and is very enjoyable for us in the evening. It is worth every penny, and they have package deals!
