I was experiencing a number of symptoms after having an intestinal abscess and finding out I had an inguinal hernia. Our 15 minute consult consisted of him berating me for being a smoker (you're preaching to the choir and this is not the subject of my appointment) and then telling me that he did not believe that I had a hernia.
