Ridiculously shady Crook.They made a mistake and made us pay for it . when asked if he would rectify he said yes and then ignored us. Even admitted to mistake.
BEWARE: Dave Paplow is a dishonest businessman. He chased storms in Florida and left jobs unfinished. He asked me to complete two of his jobs so he could get paid so I finished them to the customers satisfaction and I collected his checks and mailed them to him. He also asked if I could do some repairs for him on some other roofs and gave me a list. I was on a tight budget, but also wanted quality work. I made the right selection with Paplow Roofing Siding and Seamless Gutters. I was told up front, Paplow wasn't the cheapest in the Des Moines area, but they were the best at roofing and the products they used were of a higher quality than those that I would have received with a discount roofer; I am very pleased with my new roof.

We thought we could do it ourselves and save a little money. We got into a real mess! After starting to tear the roof off we discovered the plywood was rotten, the soffetts were rotten also. It was taking far longer than we had planned and our entire family was helping. We finally called Paplow for help. They really bailed us out. They must have had 20 guys show up, and they knew what they were doing! Within 1/2 day we had a new roof and gutters! I just want people to understand. Don't try this alone! Call Paplow!
Paplow did a fantastic job. I will always have them come back when ever i need them again.

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! Do not use them under any circumstance! I think that all positive tips must have been written by Dave and Tom Paplow themselves. They used substandard material and workmanship on our roof, causing us to spend another $4,000 in repairs with a different company and we're still not sure the roof won't leak. They crushed our driveway with their truck and promised to fix it. It never happened AND they started hanging up on my husband when he called them. BEWARE!
