I have tried to give them a chance but every time I have eaten there I have gotten very sick.
To put this into context: what La Super-Rica is to Santa Barbara, Papi's is to Paso Robles. This place is low-key, friendly and with amazing food. Food runs the gamut but the Fish Tacos are the clincher. The salsa bar is amazing from *hot* to mild with a good mix in between. The roasted jalapenos went amazingly well with my tacos and sope. Great Fast Mexican Food! The food here is splendid! It is a great restaurant for family and for a date. The food is very tasty. The staff is quick and efficient. I highly recommend papis! We have been probably 50 times!
authentic I love Papi's for authentic Mexican food. The ambiance leaves a bit to be desired, but the food is well worth it. Sometimes the hours are hit and miss, but it's a family business.
