Omg....I had the salad bar and some Sunflower Cheeze on the side. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Everything is vegan and gluten free. But it's GOOD! My goal is to try everything on the menu. Great atmosphere as well. Lots of Windows with natural light and indoor plants. Would even be nice to have coffee and hang out to do some work. Will be a regular go to spot for me.
I really like Papa G's and it's one of my go-to places for vegan food (especially their vegan cheesecake ... Mmmmm.) They also take Bitcoin, which is frikkin' awesome. I do feel like they're a *bit* disorganized (wait times are always long every time I go there) and the prices seem really high. I can't give it 5 stars, but it *is* a Portland treasure and well worth the visit (and the wait.)
5 stars isn't enough!!!! This is my new favorite place! The food tastes as good as the energy feels! I live in Graham Washington so I see day trips in my future!
Clearly the 1 star reviews were written by entitled angry people who think 1 visit is enough worthy of a review. Well, I've eaten here 8 times in the last week, ordered 8 different things, and been pleased with ALL of them! Not to mention the service is great! I made the effort to get my servers names - so far I've met Arjuna, Brigu and Dodi and they're awesome!
I came here last summer and I still think about it until this day. The nachos were amazing! They cheesecake dessert was the best I've ever had. I really enjoy the simple order and sit concept that they have here. The staff was attentive and there was a few parking spots in front. Will be back once I'm in Portland.
