Just keep on driving Paolo's is not worth stopping in. The gelato is unimpressive and overpriced, the store hours are awful & constantly changing and the staff is rude. I was disappointed.
Good gelato in Highlands Paolo's is a great gelato spot in the Highlands. They change up the flavors so my favorite - pistachio - is not always available, but the few alternate flavors I've tried have been excellent.
Paolo's Gelato Italiano Ice is numero uno. For anyone who's been to Italy and had gelato, you have to visit here, eat one of their amazing flavors, and then take more to go. Pistachio is hard to get since it's so close to the real thing in ITA. Bring cash- they only take that!
Hurrah for real gelato In the past few years, gelato has become somewhat easier to find in Atlanta as it's become trendy. However, Paolo's is still the real thing--just like Italy, with flavors you won't find outside Europe.
