Dr. Ciani does a very thorough exam. He is honest and has never recommended unnecessary treatment options. He was recommended by 2 root cannel specialists. I asked them for the recommendation: because they see everyone's teeth. He is an expert.
The staff is very competent. The doctor shows empathy and is very competent. Very attentive as well.
He is an artist. At every turn, he tries to restore what you have instead of other costly measures. He is also very gentle.
My review said it all.
Always very competent and efficient and on time. Great "bedside manner." He makes the patient feel special. He has a "killer smile" and is an all around nice person.

I have recommended Dr. Ciani to a number of people all of whom thanked me profusely. I myself have been seeing him since returning to Santa Barbara from Europe. His gentleness, attentiveness and skill have been remarkable. This has always been my opinion of him since I first used his services and well before I discovered that his mother and I knew each other in grade school in Italy in the 40s and 50s! So now I know that he's a marvelous dad and son as well. What more can one hope for!?!
