I called the day before my appointment to confirm having my car inspected and to add an oil change. When I picked up the car, the oil change had not been done. To add insult, I was informed that a 3% credit card surcharge is now being added if I use a credit card. When will businesses learn that increasing their prices slightly will cause less upset to customers than adding credit card surcharges, particularly for auto repair where there are often large unexpected costs and a credit card may be the only option.
